Wrap a remote control in a plastic bag or saran wrap in hotels.
Chances are the dirtiest thing in a hotel room (aside from the toilet seat), is the remote control. They rarely get sanitized, so I always keep a plastic freezer bag (you can also use saran wrap) and immediately put it inside when I check in.

By neatly bundling up your electronic cables/cords, you can stuff them inside of an empty toilet paper roll which makes it very compact easily organized when storing them.

If you're traveling and at a hotel with a TV and no adapter for your phone charger, you can plug into the TV to charge your phone.
When installing a new Wi-Fi router, you can re-use the previous settings from your old router.
By using the same Wi-Fi name and password, you don't need to re-login to all your devices post installation.
